At the beginning of every year, we welcome our new Year 7 students in our Transition Program where they learn more about the school, meeting the teachers, where their classrooms are, how to use the technology and making new friends.
Our Year 7 and 8 students are provided with taster electives from our Arts and Technologies departments, to provide a broad range of experiences in:
- Design and Technology
- Home Economics
- Media
- Visual Arts
- Information Technology
- Dance
- Drama
Students will also study mandatory subjects including Languages, Health and Physical Education in addition to the 4 cores subjects (MESH) of Mathematics, English, Science and Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS).
During Year 8, students will select 4 electives for Year 9. Students will complete 2 electives in each semester and the same again for Year 10.
