At Duncraig, we are passionate about the opportunities we provide for our students and supporting their career pathway.

Our curriculum provides challenging and enriching experiences for students from Year 7 to 10. We purposely direct parent funding into learning areas to provide the additional resources to give our students the leading edge over others and be ready for the workplace or further study at the end of their high school career.

As a school that has student pathways balanced between ATAR and Vocational studies, we are proud to be a school for every student, catering for all students need. There are a variety of pathways and options available to be explored.

Teaching and Learning Model

The school has a dedicated team to Teaching and Learning in the school and supporting staff through resources, professional development and mentorship and provide opportunities for continual professional growth of our staff.

We believe our educators are high-quality teachers who are innovative, passionate, and able to create meaningful learning experiences to enrich and develop our students’ understanding of the world and their place in it.

As part of this culture of quality teaching, we have a school-wide pedagogical model (the Teaching and Learning Model – “TLM”) that is being implemented in all classrooms. By utilising the latest evidence based educational research, alongside analysing global and school data, we have set out our ‘road map’ for learning.


A focus of our current business plan in building staff leadership, building our middle managers skills and capabilities and developing enquiring and collaborative teams in the school.
