Help Shave For A Difference make a difference
25 September 2020
Our goal is to raise as much money as possible before and even after we shave our hair off. So, with utmost gratitude, we ask that please even if you have a dollar to spare it’d mean the world to us if you could help us make a difference!

Duncraig Senior High School is incredibly proud of Aislinn Fischer and Jacob Tindall, two Year 12 students, who on the 16th of October will be shaving their heads to fundraise for Variety WA.
As a 10 year old girl Aislinn learnt about the autoimmune disease Alopecia Areata and vowed to herself that she would grow out her hair in order to donate, 7 year's later Aislinn's hair is now nearly 1m long! Hannah's Story shows how the hair and donations are used for beautiful wigs that promote well being and self confidence of any sufferer of Alopecia. Jacob has turned his grief from tragically losing both parents into positive action and it all started two words ... "Fundraising Ideas". This is just the first step in Jacob's plan to make the world better and make his parents proud. Please see the below links to the student's fundraising page. We wish them best of luck and look forward to being involved in their fundraising activities on the 16 October.
A few words from Aislinn and Jacob:
Hello, Aislinn Fischer and Jacob Tindall here! We're the 17-year-olds crazy enough to be shaving our 1.6 meters of total hair off on the 16th of October this year! We’d love for you to be a part of a journey with us to help make a real difference in children’s lives all around Australia. We chose to donate to Variety - The Children’s Charity because they provide support to a range of families and their children experiencing hardship through medical illness by providing grants, scholarships, experiences and more.
