Course Description:

Connecting with people is so important in all possible career paths. Students enrolled in this course will be expected to attend regular excursions to various local tourist sites.

Course Duration

This course will be completed over 2years.

Year 12 concurrent completion of SIT20116 Certificate II in Tourism.

This two year course will include excursions to local tourism sites as well as incursions where professionals from industry will help you to improve your knowledge and skills to become a local tour guide.

Successful completion gives students 11 units of competency within Tourism and Travel, Event Management, Hospitality and Business pathways.

 

The SIT20116 Certificate II in Tourism is a proposed offering for the 2021 academic year. At the time of publication, no agreements have been entered into with a Registered Training Organisation for the delivery of this qualification. On the basis of interest from students in the SIT20116 Certificate II in Tourism, the school will initiate a formal partnership agreement with a RTO for the delivery of the qualification.
