Students must have the ability to play at least one musical instrument or sing to a reasonable level. Ability to read music is an advantage.

This course will be completed over two years.
This course is suited to students who wish to develop the basic skills required to work in the music industry, particularly in a performance role. On completing the course, students will be able to rehearse and perform in solo or group situations and will be able to effectively create and edit a sound recording or digital composition using simple software and recording equipment.
This course is a preparatory qualification that can be used as a pathway into Certificate III in Music Industry
