Course Description:
In this course students will develop digital technology and problem-solving skills to create products using code. The course caters for students with all levels of coding experience. Students will use Python, Visual Basic and/or embedded systems such as Microbits to solve problems. Students will also develop knowledge and skills in Digital Technology in areas such as networks, encryption, cyber security, managing data, data representation and hardware.
Further Study:
This subject is recommended for students who wish to pursue any career that involves problem solving and/or the use of Information Technology. Year 11/12 pathways include Applied Information Technology and/or Computer Science.
